FAITH SAUNDERS

Founder | Executive Director

Faith’s career has allowed her to work in various capacities with many groups, such as families in the foster care system and youth and adults with emotional and substance abuse challenges, to name a few. She worked at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), now Rutgers University, for over 10 years. During this time, she received a master’s degree in Psychiatric Rehabilitation. She was also an adjunct professor at Rutgers University School of Health-Related Professionals for many years.
 

After leaving Rutgers, Faith worked at the Mental Health Association in New Jersey (MHANJ) for fourteen years, where she implemented and developed a New Jersey State-funded training institute. The institute provides training and technical assistance to organizations in 10 counties on mental health and employment-related issues.

Faith is passionate about helping others, especially single parents, because of her own lived experience she embarked on when her two adult children were 4 and 6 years old.

LISA A. BANNER

Board President

Lisa is an Adjunct Associate Professor at Pratt Institute, and independent curator of contemporary exhibitions, who continues this passion alongside her research on 17th Century art. She has served as a museum trustee, community art center board member and, strategic planning committee member, and as an invited curator at several museums. Her interests in contemporary art and social justice projects have extended to showcasing artists who today are fellows at the American Academy in Rome, and internationally recognized artists who exhibit regularly in major venues like embassies, museums, biennials, universities and public spaces.


In her published work and exhibitions, Banner focuses on the role of women within the family, ideas of authority, representation, and spirituality. She has published pieces on issues surrounding stereotypes and propaganda and how artists use repetition of images and tropes to form cornerstones. She is a mother and grandmother who loves to read and tell stories.

MARVA V. FRASIER-BARRETT

Board Treasurer

Marva obtained her master’s degree in social work from Howard University and bachelor’s degree in psychology from Adelphi University.  In addition, Marva is a Certified Financial Social Worker.  During her downtime she enjoys reading, listening to music, playing the piano, African Drum and Dance. She resides in Englewood, New Jersey with her husband, Marklon and daughter, Hanan.

ASHLEY McCALLA

Board Secretary

Ashley is a results-oriented Associate Director of Content Operations in the nonprofit sector with over 6 years of experience using a variety of approaches. She specializes in bringing structure to ambiguous situations and anticipating stakeholders’ needs—skills that were honed from years in the hospitality industry. Ashley has a passion for helping others through task and people management, which shines through in her role as the Secretary of I Can Make A Difference.

RANI KUMAR RAJAH

Board Member

Rani, a resident of Princeton, NJ, is a seasoned technology executive and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience leading transformative technology programs and global initiatives, including 15 years at Ernst & Young. She is the founder of a pioneering startup focused on advancing AI security and governance, complementing her extensive expertise in cloud, cyber, and blockchain technologies. Rani also serves on the Board of Directors for Asia Initiatives and Sourland Conservancy. Passionate about innovation and community impact, she has mentored impact entrepreneurs, coached Girl Scouts in NJ, and tutored elementary students in underserved communities. She is committed to sustainability, empowering women and future generations, and promoting the responsible use of technology.

JULIUS HUANG

Board Member

Julius is a clinical researcher with over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. She has a Ph.D degree in medical science, and is certified as a project management professional (PMP). Throughout her life, Julius has been demonstrating commitment to social impact and working to improve the lives of individuals and families. She is passionate about iCAMD's mission to empower and uplift families facing unique challenges. She believes strongly in the importance of accessible resources, community-building, and creating a supportive environment. As a board member, Julius is committed to supporting the organization through her knowledge and skills.

VANESSA MING

Board Member

Vanessa is an educator and mental health provider. She has over 15 years of experience in school counseling and mental health services. Vanessa earned her doctoral degree in Counseling and Supervision.  She provides clients with a wide range of psychological services that are catered to suit their needs. As a leading Mental Health Service Provider, her experience expands to a number of different specialty areas including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.

SONJA BISHOP

St. Louis Program Director

Sonja is the creator and owner of Re-Think-et Trinket LLC, a quality handcrafted Jewelry Company in the St. Louis Area, founded in 2014. Prior to opening her company, she worked in the Residential and Commercial Property industry for over 20 years. She is passionate about simply lifting up others. Her opportunity to work with iCMAD is her way to choose to make a positive difference by using empathy, kindness, encouragement, and sincerity to make that difference. She believes these actions provide fuel for the soul, to go out and make society a better place. Let’s combat this together by individually making a positive step toward changing the world. Take that first small step and see how it makes a huge footprint in this world. Let’s start today!

LAUREL BISHOP

Grant Coordinator

Laurel retired in 2019 after over 30 years in the oil and gas industry as an IT Program Manager and has devoted her time and talents to supporting various charitable organizations. She joined iCMAD in 2023 at the urging of her sister-in-law, Sonja Bishop, and has been inspired by the passion and dedication of the leadership team and the many volunteers. Laurel and her husband split their time between an apartment in NYC and a 225-year-old farmhouse in Hunterdon County, NJ, where they raised their two children along with a menagerie of animals, including dogs, cats, lambs, goats, and chickens. Laurel is the Outreach Coordinator and Soup Kitchen Program Director for St Ignatius of Antioch Episcopal Church in Manhattan and a Park Tender for Riverside Park. She loves ballet and takes weekly classes at Ballet Academy East.
