On the Horizon

Our goal is to assist teen mothers in managing their emotional well-being as they balance the challenges of being a single teen parent while pursuing their education.
We will partner with different organizations to connect single teen moms with community resources that can support them on their journey.
One of the organizations already engaged is Union County Savings Bank which will offer financial education to the parents. To help these teen parents establish consistent saving habits, iCMAD will provide each parent with funds to kickstart their savings account.

This program will build on the Vision Boards the mothers developed during the 2024 Mother and Child Retreat, offering both group and individual coaching assistance to guide them toward achieving their goals.
The program will run for three months, January–March 2025, and will consist of two meetings per month to help each participant achieve their goals laid out in their vision boards.
Each mother will also have access to a coach during the program to receive additional support.
